Help

Getting around Vitrel.

The short answers. Anything missing, or wrong: Help ▸ Send Feedback… in the app.

The keyboard

Vitrel uses Chrome's shortcuts on the Mac, and Safari's where Chrome has none. Help ▸ Keyboard Shortcuts in the app lists every one, always for the version you run. Every shortcut is also in the menu bar.

Profiles

A profile keeps its own history, bookmarks, passwords, cookies and settings. Open a window in one from File ▸ New Window in Profile, from the Dock icon's menu, or from the ⋮ menu. Add and edit profiles in Settings ▸ Profiles.

What opens at launch

Settings ▸ General ▸ "Vitrel opens with" picks the windows from last time, or a new window. With a new window, last time's windows wait under History ▸ Recently Closed, and ⇧⌘T brings them back until you quit.

Bookmarks

⌘D bookmarks the page. Bookmarks ▸ Bookmark All Tabs… saves every tab of the window in a new folder in Other Bookmarks. ⇧⌘D adds a page to the Reading List instead.

Privacy

Settings ▸ Privacy & Blocking has the switches. Each site has its own on the shield in the address bar. What the app sends over the network is on the privacy page.
